Due to the COVID-19 Virus, the Environmental Services offices have reduced staff working on site with others working off site.  Our Inspectors are still working daily to complete inspections for new construction projects only. We are NOT doing inspections on structures that are occupied as a residence.   We are still accepting building permit applications. County Employees are also practicing social distancing and would appreciate your cooperation with this.

The following is a sample (not a complete) listing of activities that require a building permit. Contact us at (402) 444-7189 with specific inquiries.
